Woman thinking of her cats...hehe...this is a cheat...no more cats at the moment.
Thanks, Regina. I was experimenting. I first cut a lino print, then since I didn't have any printing ink, I wanted to try and see if watercolor paint would give me an idea what the print would look like (the black). Then I took the water color paints and applied in what would be the white areas and then added more interest with pens. I can print this many times and get different effects each time by changing the picture in different ways. All experimental--that's what's so much fun--no rules! Or if rules, break them!
This painting holds so much intrigue - I want to ask her, where are you, what are you doing, who are you, what are you feeling? To be able to portray all those questions in a painting is a wondrous thing.
is this done by printing? Very unique and original !
