29 Faces -- 28 Days -- Angel Texture with Computer Paint
This was a canvas on which I put a lot of apoxie clay for texture. In real life it has too much random texture and I never was happy with the way it turned out. Last night I used "Paint" on my computer to add color to make it pop a little. I like it a little better but the face has been changed and changed again on the actual canvas so I just gave up with that part. Anybody know how I can get rid of the spackling compound, I really hate it and can't work around it in it's present state? This is just a virtual face--doesn't really exist in real life.

29 Faces -- Day 25 -- Two Faced
In an effort to supply a little humor on my page, I just want you to know this is a literal interpretation and not the sneaky-pie other interpretation, which I am not fond of finding in anyone including myself! To thine own self be true and that goes for being true to everybody else as well. As I look at this, one could also say, put your best face forward, or simply face forward, or face it, or face your fears, or what is that growth coming out of my forehead? Or, Aliens inside us....gosh there's a lot in this one that never occurred to me when I created it. Any psychologists in the challenge?

29 Faces -- Day 24 - Bird Lady of Bimini
This one has evolved and changed over time. It started as a collage of some of my pieces on a wood square. Then I added more painted elements and glitter (you can't see it in this print). Then again tonight I added some more touches here and there. I have other prints incorporating the bird and the head (separate pieces).

29 Faces --Day 22 -- Shaman
Started this two days ago starting with the face, then added the serpenty wings and it evolved into a joyous shaman in an ecstatic healing state, perhaps experiencing a connection with the divine.

29 Faces -- Day 20 - And Now for Something Different: Tribal Kings
This is an older work in a primitive style with faces. It's a mixed media on a wood plank. I was making it to fit as an Etsy banner for one of my shops.

29 Faces -- Day 13 - Presenting Empress Gerta Gourd
Never before published...'cause I took the picture last night of Empress Gerta Gourd I of Vineland (I'm currently reading Catherine the Great's biography by Robert K. Massie and loving it, hence the imagined pomp and circumstance for my gourd). Instead of scrubbing off the naturally occurring design on the drying gourd body, I left it because I found it kind of beautiful. I worked with enhancing it with paints and pen. Her majesty is resting against a soft pillow in her boudoir...one must have an imagination about these things! Or else I'm just nuts!!

29 Faces - Day 12 -- Mandala Cat
I watched the Grammies tonight, so I pulled something out that I'd never photographed before--one of my wooden cats. Originally there were 100--each one totally different--only the shape remained the same. I've kept my favorites.
